MEET BETSY
Hi, I'm Betsy.
I've had dogs in my life since the day I was born. Growing up, our family dog was basically my sister. Now, as an adult, my dog Pickles is my daughter. In 2023 I ordered matching fleeces for us, and every time I pulled them out Pickles would get so excited. She knew she was about to get extra pets, attention, and adventure time. (I'm probably a little crazy, but I swear she knew we were matching!)
That joy is what started all of this. I spend a lot of time walking Pickles and wanted outfits that were both functional and cute — because you never know who you might run into on a walk! That simple desire turned into matching tennis skirts and bandanas designed for real life adventures with your dog. Every skirt has practical pockets for your phone and a tennis ball, moisture-wicking fabric, and fun prints that make you excited to get outside and move. The matching bandanas let you and your pup twin in style — whether you're on the tennis court, at the park, or just on your daily neighborhood walk.

OUR MISSION
Fashion with a Forever Home
At Betsy Bee Designs, we believe fashion can do more than look good — it can change lives. But there's a deeper reason Betsy Bee exists. Our family dogs were always rescues, and all three dogs I've had as an adult have been rescues too. When my grandpa passed away, he asked that people donate to a local rescue instead of bringing flowers. That's just part of my DNA.
That's why every piece we make supports rescue partners. A portion of every sale goes directly to them for medical care and food. Our website features a Virtual Shelter where you can browse adoptable dogs from our partner rescues, and each product tag tells the story of a real dog waiting for a home. Shopping with us becomes a small but meaningful way to help dogs find their forever families.

Take Paws
Take Paws is a New Orleans-based rescue organization dedicated to saving dogs from high-kill shelters and finding them loving forever homes. Their adoption events, foster network, and community outreach have transformed hundreds of lives — both canine and human. They are our founding rescue partner and a core part of everything Betsy Bee stands for.
